First of all, let me say the first thing, in any business excellent customer service is on the top of the list.  Buyers and sellers want a realtor that is tech-savvy and on their game knowing the market. Second, I find, is communication, in this day and age, I always ask what method is preferred? Text, call or email. The fact remains that many jobs prevent employees from using their cell phone while at work, only on break and lunch typically are allowed. Meeting with buyers and seller's are important as well. Realtor's play a vital part when assisting clients, most clients feel very comfortable and keep in mind some transactions are complex and this is why they depend on us as this is our scope of work. 

Other major attributes are trust, loyalty, character, communication, on time negotiation skills and education. Any one of these factors can blow a transaction for a buyer or seller.
