Sales for the entire year finished strong, reaching the highest annual level since 2006. Along with the interest rates continue and expected to spike in even later in 2022. SUPPLY AND DEMAND

Demand is not expected to weaken this year 2022. Supply is still limited, reality is that inventory decreases every December which is the typical holiday trend. Provided the families that are out this time of year looking and selling are serious buyers and sellers. Review the chart of homes for sale nationally to see the trend. HOME SELLERS

Sellers still have leverage to a certain extend going into in this last quarter current market in 2022. With still a limited supply the seller has room in the negotiation of contract. The economy is showing strong signs of resilience, mainly due to the consumer spending, and rates are up and down. Overall housing cost are also slightly increasing in many areas and therefore impacting inflation which continues to persist with the even bigger challenge which is home inventory which sits at about a 90 day supply.
