Kennedy Space Center is a piece of the cutting edge of history as each year passes with space exploration and always written in history books. Being retire from the Air Force of 30 years of service, I had the opportunity to work at Cape Canaveral which is associated with Kennedy Space Center. My job was scheduling the space shuttle and deploy missiles into space and enjoyed each day at work. I scheduled the Atlantis STS-125 May 2009 supporting the last repairs for the Telescope Hubble. As you enter the building through the rocket booster's and external fuel tank you will have a presentation. The STS-125 space craft hangs inside the building on display. Kennedy Space station reminds me somewhat of Epcot Center, always exploring new advanced ideas into the future.
You will see many displays that will really peak your interest. Such as the space craft capsule with facts that lands the astronauts into the ocean after completing several days of a successful mission. Exhibits the Mars Rover, nature and technology and many missiles on display with fact sheets in rocket garden. Statue of hero's and legends, IMAX theater and much more.
