INFLATION IN 2023

Inflation in 2023 is the question for many tax paying United States citizens. With all has been going on in the last two years in the political arena and Russia war with Ukraine. Central Florida and the Dr Phillips housing market currently is not taking a major hit with price reductions, just staying longer on the market. The Disney Theme Parks keeps families coming to the area year round and the area has a lot to offer. Lenders now have now shifted in lending products to offer homebuyers to qualify for homes. Services to the public has nearly doubled. Building materials has doubled for all homes that are being built. With COVID supply chains and employees quitting that cannot service the ships bringing goods to shore caused a major backlog. This cost passes on to the homebuyer along with rising interest rates. So back to the question, how can homebuyers afford a home to buy? In the real estate business it was tough to price homes to sell for a profit based on fluctuating prices, this affected the whole nation. There are some signs that this will taper off since the interest rate spike that started in June 2022 but still complicated.
