FIRST TIME BUYER 2022 REPORT

First time buyer 2022 report from the National Association of Realtors shows that first time buyers decreased, starting June 2022 as for interest rates put many on the fence to figure our a plan. Many did not have enough money saved and credit score was marginal, however there are many homes for sale across the nation. Many first time buyers got fed up with rising monthly rental price which was out of their control and receiving nothing for it. Many landlords were taking advantage of the economy disregarding the income of the tenant. These new buyers make up about 25-26 percent of the country home purchasing. 

DEMOGRAPHICS

Many first time buyers are now finding out that their distance has to be expanded at lease another fifteen miles from preferred demographic area. This decision was to stay within their pre-qualification along with rising prices. Yes this makes a huge difference in the price of the home. A remedy that a first time buyer has, is to buy their interest rate down to stay qualified and in the game.
